This page illustrates, for interest and record, some contemporary
tickets from the line.
This ticket was issued onboard the train by the ticket checker from a portable ticket machine.
This ticket was issued from a ticket vending machine (TVM) at Waterford Plunkett railway station. There are at present (Summer 2013) two TVMs in Plunkett station. The pen mark on the ticket is where the ticket was checked prior to being allowed access to the platform.
This ticket was purchased from a ticket office.
The rear of each ticket has a magnetic strip for use (where applicable) in station ticket gates.
