Tipperary railway station:

Whilst most of the station building is in use as an enterprise centre, the ground floor hall has bench seating beside the door to the platform. Rail information is on display and an eircom WiFiHub hotspot is available.

The station's single platform can also be accessed via the gate from the car park. The platform has open air seating.





Bus Éireann Expressway route 55 links Tipperary to Bansha several times daily. The bus stop is located on Abbey Street
around 300 metres from the station.

Bringing a bicycle by train:

It is possible to bring a bicycle by train.
fares:
Tipperary to Limerick Junction/ Cahir/ Clonmel: € 2.50 single;
€5 return

Tipperary to Carrick-on-Suir/ Waterford: € 4.00 single ; €8 return

The InterCity train deployed on the line has a rack with space for three bicycles in one of its carriages. In the event of a smaller Commuter train being used a passenger should remain with their bicycle in the vestibule at all times. The carriage of bicycles is at staff discretion.
